LA native Cassandra Violet's transcendent indie pop blends infectious hooks, loops and layered vocals into a candy-colored girl group a la Lily Allen meets the Supremes. Her songs have been on Ozark (Netflix), The Mindy Project (Hulu), The Fosters (ABC Family), and the film Girl on the Edge, on Showtime. Her unique singing and whistling sounds have been featured at School Night at Bardot, the Moroccan Lounge, the Echo, the Bootleg, Resident, and the Regent Theater, with press in LA Weekly, and Artbound on KCET. Cassandra is also a whistler, and features this unique skill during her live shows and for the company Native Instruments. Cassandra writes from a modern woman's perspective about strength, solitude, love and disappointment, sung in sassy three part harmony. She released EP4 in December 2017, and in April 2018 she toured Asia with the Japanese rock musician Miyavi.
